Beware of "Valcon Infotech" Job Scam: "No Interview, Direct Offer"
Recently, I received a suspicious job offer via WhatsApp and Email from a company claiming to be "Valcon Infotech". They tried to mimic a legitimate hiring process but several red flags appeared. Here is exactly what happened so you can avoid it.
🚩 The Red Flags
- "No Interview" Policy: They claimed I only needed to pass one "NQT Exam" to get the job directly. Real companies always interview.
- Urgency: Phrases like "Urgent Hiring" and "Immediate Hiring" are common panic tactics.
- Vague Role: "Junior Web Developer" with a massive salary range (4-7 LPA for freshers) without checking skills.
- Direct Offer within 2 Days: Startups move fast, but guaranteed offers in 48 hours without talking to a human is a lie.
The Scam Message
Here is the exact message they sent me:
"Hello Sujal Sharma,
We are interested in your profile for Junior Web Developer at Valcon Infotech.
National Qualifier Test (NQT) is the final step in our hiring process. Due to urgent hiring needs, you can appear in the exam without paying any fee.
Next Step:
Click this link to appear for the exam (NO REGISTRATION FEE) 👉 valconglobal.in/nqt-exam-attempt
You only need to clear one round of exam. Once you clear it, there will be no further interview rounds, and you will get selected for the job role. After selection, we will share the offer letter within 2 days."

What Should You Do?
If you receive a similar message:
- Do NOT click the link. It likely downloads malware or steals your data.
- Check the Domain. Legitimate companies usually don't use dash-separated generic domains or domains registered 2 days ago.
- Verify on LinkedIn. Check if the recruiters actually exist or if the company page is legitimate.
